Grace is extremely good at optimising R&D claims for businesses. She has extensive experience of Innovation Tax Reliefs, working with businesses of different sizes and helping them to make the most of Innovation Tax Reliefs available to their business.

Her science and engineering background includes a BSc in Chemistry, an MSc in process systems engineering and an engineering doctorate in biopharmaceutical Bioprocess Development. She started her experience in the chemical industry with Johnson Matthey in their environmental catalysts unit and then worked with Infineum, a specialty chemicals company with powerful research and development capabilities around innovative chemistry.

Grace started her R&D Tax career with EY and has experience preparing R&D claims across many sectors. Her experience has given her exposure to preparing R&D claims for a wide range of businesses and she has experience across all Innovations Tax Reliefs including Patent Box and Research and Development Allowances, as well as grant applications.

Grace enjoys traveling and has worked and lived in many parts of the UK as well as Spain, Belgium and Germany. When she isn’t working on R&D claims, she enjoys spending time with her big Ghanaian family, keeping up with her hens, attending a book club and tending to her allotment and garden. She enjoys eating seasonal food as much as possible and incorporating her own produce of herbs, vegetables and fruits into her diet and for use as natural remedies.
