Sophie Richards
Office and HR Manager
After completing her Bachelors degree at the University of Leeds, Sophie entered the finance industry working as a Finance Operations Specialist for a large firm in Uxbridge. After a few years she decided to make a change and joined TAP in an administrative role within the corporate team. She shortly decided that she could offer more to the company than admin alone and embarked on achieving her CIPD Level 5 People Management qualification. Now she manages the Leeds office as well as HR operations across all sites alongside Michael Bull. Sophie acts as the first point of call for all things HR as well as anything relating to the Leeds site.
Away from the office, Sophie enjoys getting outdoors for a good hike—although, after recently struggling through the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, she’s not so sure she likes hiking as much as she thought! She also loves exploring new restaurants with her partner and friends and diving into a great board game or book to share in her book club with her sisters. Originally from the London area, with family and friends scattered across the UK, Sophie spends countless weekends travelling to stay connected with them all.
